Refill Program

We offer refills on candle containers purchased at Green Ash Decor!  Refills will either be unscented, or the next scent that we run, or if you choose your scent we will give you an approximate time frame.  Please return your clean container to the Dundas Production Studio during shop hours (or arrange a time by email).  You will be required to prepay for your candle and will receive 25% off the regular purchase price.

Burning Tips & Candle Maintenance

  • Trim wooden wick to 1/8” and cotton or hemp to ¼” every time you burn.
  • Burn candles less than 8 oz for 2 hours and all others for 3 hours the first time you burn to establish a large burn pool.
  • Burn for 2-3 hours each time thereafter to avoid tunnelling and to use up as much wax as possible.
  • Burn for a maximum of 4 hours at a time.
  • Keep lid on scented candles when not burning to retain scent.
  • Follow safety instructions on the label.

Cleaning Tips

  • To clean and reuse your container, put in the oven at the lowest temperature to bring wax to a liquid, pour the liquid into a container to reuse or discard into your compost, turn the container upside down on parchment and return to the oven to get remaining liquid out.
  • Wipe container out with paper towel, let cool and wash in hot soapy water or dishwasher.

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates

  • For calculated shipping rates: Shipping charges & lead-times for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.

  • FREE standard shipping for orders over $99 / $15 if under $99 (within Canada), and $15 for over $100 / $25 if under $100 within the continental U.S.A.
  • Free local delivery is available for orders over $39 within 10km of the Dundas Studio (64 Hatt Street, Dundas, Ontario, Canada, L9H 7T6). 
  • We will contact you via email or text message with the information you provided at checkout to notify you when to expect your delivery.  Expected delivery is within 48 hours.
  • You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at 64 Hatt Street in Dundas, Ontario. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. 

International Shipping

  • We are currently only shipping within Canada and the U.S.A.

How do I check the status of my order?

  • When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
